Armenian contract soldier Robert Abrahamyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound, on Sunday at around 2:15am.
Abrahamyan was mortally wounded at a military position under the protection of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army unit.
The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case into this incident.
A respective investigation and judicial actions are underway to find out all circumstances behind this occurrence.
