As per Alexander Bastrykin, Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, the recent escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh attests to the fact that the Russian opposition forces continue their attempts to establish a hotbed of war along the border of Russia.

“The recent developments in Karabakh-Nagorno indicate that the opposition forces of Russia are again trying to undermine the peace between the Armenian and Azerbaijani peoples, and create another hotbed of war at the border with Russia,” Bastrykin wrote, in particular, in an article which Kommersant daily newspaper of Russia ran on Monday.
