Armenia is the only regional country that can act as a mediator in Iran-West relations, Richard Giragosian, Director of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) told the reporters on Monday.
The expert noted that Iran is “surrounded by U.S. troops”, therefore it wants to expand relations with Armenia. It is the only regional state that can be a bridge between Iran and the West, unlike other countries, said Giragosian, adding that Iran is also very important country for Armenia as well.
The ACNIS director also stressed that presently situation is getting unstable. Present developments in Iran are signs of war and the fact that the Iranian nuclear sites were attacked by computer viruses testifies to it.
