make preferableSTEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan, and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday visited a military unit of the NKR Defense Army.
They handed state awards to a group of servicemen who had shown courage and bravery while defending the NKR state borders during the large-scale military actions, which Azerbaijan unleashed from April 2 to 5.
Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, on the same day, Sahakyan and Sargsyan also visited the Central Military Hospital in NKR capital city Stepanakert. They got familiarized with health condition of the servicemen who were wounded while suppressing the Azerbaijani aggression.
The two presidents expressed their gratitude to the NKR Defense Army servicemen for their courage, and wished speedy recovery to all wounded soldiers.
