YEREVAN. – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) MPs will demand the recognition of the military crimes committed by Baku.

Opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairwoman and PAP National Assembly (NA) Faction Head Naira Zohrabyan, who is also a member of the Armenian NA delegation to the PACE, on Tuesday told the aforesaid to reporters, as she summed up the results of the PACE Spring Session that wrapped up recently.

“They [i.e. the PACE MPs] will express their [respective] view by addressing the international organizations that are authorized to give the ‘military criminal’ wording,” Zohrabyan added.

In her words, the PACE Azerbaijani delegation, contrary to his habit, was less aggressive during this PACE session, and this is quite explicable.

“They could not vociferously announce that they did not attack first, since at least several Council of Europe countries have satellite intelligence,” the PACE Armenian delegation member noted. “They [i.e. the Azerbaijan delegation] also could not deny the evidence of inhuman torture, which the International Committee of the Red Cross has recorded.”
