YEREVAN. – Moscow hopes that the parties to the Karabakh conflict will avoid steps that could disrupt quite fragile truce, spokesperson for Russian president said.
Dmitry Peskov said Russia is closely monitoring the decisions that are taken in this context, RIA Novosti reported.
“And, of course, we continue to expect that the parties will avoid any steps that could disrupt quite fragile truce and could bring about escalation of tensions in Nagorno-Karabakh ,” he told reporters.
Peskov said the bill on recognition of Nagorno Karabakh's independence by Armenia was not discussed with Moscow.
