YEREVAN. – The adversary continued shooting toward the northeastern sector—i.e. Tavush Province of Armenia—of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, from late Friday night to early Saturday morning.
During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired irregular shots at the Armenian position-holders, and by way of rifle and sniper weaponry.
The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Armenian armed forces, however, confidently control the border situation, and they take appropriate actions solely in case of targeted violations by the adversary.
