YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.45/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is up by AMD 0.36 from Wednesday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 547.10 (up by AMD 1.22), that of one British pound was AMD 693.04 (up by AMD 1.95), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.39 (up by AMD 0.14).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 269.91, AMD 19,682.23 and AMD 16,447.46, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.64/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 479.5/$1.
