STEPANAKERT. - The adversary began to fire at the military position of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army all along the Karabakh –Azerbaijani Contact Line from mortars of different calibers since 5:00 pm Friday, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army press-service reports.

Especially intensive firing has been recorded in the northeastern (Martakert) and northern (Talish) directions: the adversary shot 116 missiles from 82 mm mortars. 

According to the tradition, the adversary hurried to shuffle its attempts to destabilize the situation on the Karabakh side, which doesn’t correspond to reality.  

The vanguard units of the Defense Army observe the agreement to cease fire and respond only in case of absolute necessity, targeting solely the firing points of the adversary.
