On September 30, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received the participants of the 10th session of the Council of the Heads of the CIS Supreme Audit Institutions, the RA Presidential press service informed NEWS.am.
Serzh Sargsyan stressed Armenia attaches significance to the activities of the Council and is ready for further cooperation. According to him, the members of the council have common problems, which assume analogical solutions and joint efforts. The President noted the joint activities and exchange of experience will be useful for all the member states.
“We attach importance to the cooperation with European agencies. It is obvious, the European audit institutions have rich experience and we should apply to it taking into account our peculiarities. We are ready for an active participation in EUROSAI (European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions) activities take measures in Yerevan,” he said.
The representatives from Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Georgian, Tajik, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Moldavian, Baltic countries’ supreme audit institutions, the President of EUROSAI and the chairman of Poland’s Supreme Chamber of Control Jacek Jezierski and Armenian President, discussed the current problems and their possible solutions.
