YEREVAN. – If we compare with the last period, the shooting was the least today, Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told reporters, prior to Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

“The border situation is relatively calm,” Ohanyan also said. “We are collaborating with the [Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh)] Defense Army, and according to the information received, all Defense Army divisions, being at the frontline today, control the situation and stand ready to carry out any task set before them.”

The situation along the Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact and the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is tense since April 2.
