YEREVAN. – Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Yerevan late in the evening on Thursday, to participate in the regular meeting of the PMs of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries.

EAEU members Belarus PM Andrei Kobyakov, Kazakhstan PM Karim Massimov, and Kyrgyzstan PM Sooronbay Jeenbekov also have arrived in the capital city of Armenia.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that, first, President Serzh Sargsyan will receive these top officials, whereupon the said meeting will kick off. 

A talk with the attendance of such high-level foreign officials will be held in Yerevan for he first time.

EAEU integration cooperation is expected to be discussed at the event.

This meeting of the EAEU PMs was originally slated for April 8. But due to the four-day war which Azerbaijan had unleashed against Nagorno-Karabakh in early April, it was postponed because of the Kazakh PM, who did not agree to come to Yerevan, and therefore the meeting was convened in Moscow.
