YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence to his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad in connection with the horrible terrorism which took place in Tartus, Latakia and other Syrian settlements, leaving numerous civilians dead and wounded.

“These terrible crimes against the civilian population of Syria have no justification. We strongly condemn terrorism and all its manifestations, urging the international community to continue its struggle against this evil by united forces. I offer my condolences to you and friendly Syrian people, wishing strength of spirit to the victims’ relatives, and a speedy recovery to the injured,” the President’s condolence letter reads.
