STEPANAKERT. – The relative calm along line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was maintained, from late Friday night to early Saturday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the arrangement to cease fire primarily by way of rifle weaponry.

“[But] the DA vanguard units maintain full control over the frontline, and confidently carry out the military task set before them,” the respective statement reads.
