The driver’s license found in Baku most probably belongs to the Armenian Lieutenant Colonel Aleksan Arakelyan, who was killed during the four-day April war.

“All the data coincide. Besides the driver’s license, the Azeris also took all the documents, watch, money and car keys of my Alik,” father of the killed Lieutenant General, Gevorg Arakelyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

As per Azerbaijani Minval.az, the document was found in Sabunçu district of Baku. According to the information of the police, resident of 8 Mehmandarov street in Bakıxanov settlement, Ilkin Mamedov, found a document belonging to an Armenian in front of his house, reported Oxu.az news agency of Azerbaijan.

Mamedov handed the document to the 13th Police Department of Sabunçu district.

It is reported that the document is a driver’s license in the name of Aleksandr Arakelyan, a citizen of Armenia, born in 1982, and which was issued on August 27, 2014, by the law enforcement authorities of Armenia.

The local Azerbaijani state security service was reported about the incident.
