YEREVAN. – Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper of Armenia has learned that the installation of investigative mechanisms at the line of contact of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is delayed for the moment, since the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group mediators cannot find the needed funding.

“Quite a lot of money is needed to introduce the mechanisms, since it assumes the introduction of special technical means and their permanent service. Quite a lot of time will pass until the [respective] money matter is settled. 

“There is concern among the authorities that the investigative mechanisms will not be introduced at line of contact this year.

“So, hardly any progress will be achieved during the Sargsyan-Aliyev-Putin meeting to be held on June 20 in Saint Petersburg[, Russia],” wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
