YEREVAN. – Delegates from the 60th General Assembly of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC) on Saturday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, and laid flowers in memory of the genocide victims.

They also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The WFIMC 60th General Assembly is convened in Yerevan, from Wednesday to Saturday. It is held under the auspices of Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan, at the invitation of the Aram Khachaturian International Competition Organizing Committee, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia.

The directors, art directors, and representatives of around forty prestigious international music competitions are in Armenia these days.
