YEREVAN. – Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the news service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations that a call was received, on Friday at 3:38pm, that a road accident had occurred in Norapat village in the Armavir Province.

It was found out that a truck had caught fire while on the road. Subsequently, driver Kh.Kh. had attempted to park the vehicle next to a car (driver E. B.), but as a result, this vehicle also had caught fire. 

Prior to the rescue workers arrival at the scene, however, the truck driver and his passengers, Kh. Kh., Kh. A., and U. K. were rushed to the Armavir town hospital.

Doctors say they are in satisfactory condition.

Prior to the fire and rescue workers’ arrival at the scene, however, the fire was put by local efforts.

But both vehicles were completely destroyed by the fire.
