STEPANAKERT. – The relative calm along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was mostly maintained over the weekend.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire primarily by way of rifle weaponry.

“[But] the DA vanguard units are in command of the operational situation over the frontline, and they continue confidently carrying out [their] military watch,” the respective statement reads.
