STEPANAKERT. – The relative calm situation along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was mostly maintained, from late Tuesday night to early Wednesday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces continued violating the ceasefire primarily by way of rifle weaponry. But they also made use of sniper rifles in some directions.

“[But] the DA vanguard units are in command of the operational situation, and they continue confidently carrying out the military task set before them,” the respective statement reads.
