Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament has approved the decision about visa liberalization to the EU countries for Ukraine, Georgia, and Kosovo, reports 112 Ukraine referring to the press service of the European Parliament.
“In the document I call for granted a visa-free regime to Ukraine as soon as possible and without any further delay. Ukraine has made a great progress on its European path since the Euromaidan protest two years ago. Ukrainian nation fought for its European choice and for European democratic values. Ukraine has unquestionably and successfully met all benchmarks acquired to be granted visa-free regime,” said Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, the reporter on Ukrainian affairs.
42 deputies voted in favor , 3 were against , and 6 abstained .
