Davit Ishkhanyan, head of the “Dashnaktsutyun” Faction at the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), said the rumors, according to which the Artsakh authorities are prepared to cede territories in return for getting a stable status, are not true.

“We have no reason to make such comments, or assumptions,” noted Ishkhanyan. “We have no reason to assume that there is such a climate, or attitude.”

To the remark that rumors were spread, after the four-day war in early April, that President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had discussed, with the MPs in the NKR capital city of Stepanakert, the possibility of ceding territories, Davit Iskhanyan responded: “Serzh Sargsyan did not discuss such a matter. And various, false views were disseminated in the media regarding this discussion process; they are fictional things.”
