A total of 41 police officers were killed during the military coup attempt in Turkey.

Ümit Dündar, acting Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, informed about the aforementioned, reported Sabah newspaper of Turkey.

On Friday evening, a group of military officers had announced about seizing power in Turkey.
