Talking to the Zhamanak newspaper, PACE Co-Rapporteur on Armenia Goran Lindblad said that argued with another Co-Rapporteur John Prescott after he sent a letter to the head of Armenian delegation at PACE David Harutunyan.

“Prescott behaved like Armenian more than Armenians did. He was very angry and I cannot understand the reason. In fact he attacked me because of this letter,” Lindblad said.

Asked whether he considers that Armenian authorities keep on denying their commitments to the Council of Europe, he said that Armenian authorities’ actions testify to it. “They have been trying to postpone Co-Rapporteurs’ visit already for year and a half,” he noted, adding that Prescott stands for Armenian leadership, although they do not deserve it.
