On October 9, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani. Nalbandian underlined the important role of bilateral parliamentary cooperation in interstate relations, RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.

The officials touched upon the agreements reached during the Armenian President’s visit to Iran in April 2009. The sides also discussed a wide range of issues on bilateral relations. Nalbandian presented the recent developments in the Karabakh peace process and attached significance to Iran’s balanced and constructive stance on the conflict resolution.
