Moscow will treat the threats sounded in the video of the terrorist organization Islamic State with necessary attention, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on Monday, Lenta reported.

He noted that such publications are taken into account by special services which are responsible for anti-terrorist operation and security. Some necessary measures are taken through the Ministry of Defence during performance of operation of the Russian Forces in Syria. He also added that similar threats cannot affect consistent policy of Russia and President Vladimir Putin on the fight against terrorism which will continue on all directions.

The Kremlin spokesman said that one should not exaggerate these threats, but it is necessary to take precautionary measures.

In a nine-minute video which was released on Sunday, a terrorist turns to the Russian president, and says that the Russians will be killed in their homes.
