Ordinary citizens of Iran have not felt the benefits from the nuclear agreement signed with world powers yet, according to which economic sanctions have been removed, Iranian Supreme Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said while speaking in Tehran, Radio Azattyk reported.

According to him, cancellation of sanctions hasn't affected everyday life of Iranians in any way. He noted that not all sanctions are removed.

 In his opinion, sanctions against Iran should have been stopped once, however,  lifting of sanctions was carried out step by step by Washington instead. He added that the foreign companies do not hurry to invest in Iran.

 Ayatollah Ali Khamenei criticized the U.S. for false promises stating that from now Tehran should not trust promises of the Americans.
