YEREVAN. -- The recent statement by President Serzh Sargsyan on Karabakh was very clear, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told reporters on Thursday.

“Serzh Sargsyan was clear: firstly, there will be no unilateral concessions on Karabakh. Secondly, it is excluded that Karabakh may be a part of Azerbaijan,” the official said.

Asked whether the Armenian side is under pressure, the Deputy Foreign Minister replied: “During any peace process, the mediators demand concessions from the sides to bring closer their approaches. It is a natural thing in any talks, but I would not call it a pressure.”
