The decision of the Istanbul Court  about my absentee arrest confirms  the desire of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to establish the authoritative power, the  ideologist of Hizmet movement Fethullah Gülen said, Reuters reported.

"It is well-documented that the Turkish court system is without judicial independence, so this warrant is yet another example of President (Tayyip) Erdogan's drive for authoritarianism and away from democracy," Gülen said.

Turkish authorities accuse Gulen of organizing the coup attempt on July 15 and demand his extradition from the United States. In turn, Washington insists on solid evidence of his guilt to start the extradition process.
