YEREVAN. - A subsequent rally in support of Sasna Tsrer armed group has kicked off in Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

The rally has had no leader for already the second day and is going on spontaneously, Armenian News - NEWS.am correspondent reports.

The speakers, who are mainly unknown citizens, are approaching the microphone and making speeches related to issues in different areas, starting from the country’s socioeconomic issues to Karabakh conflict. The protestors are interrupting the speeches, scanning ‘Sasna Tsrer’.

No specific plan of actions has yet been announced.

It’s already the second day the rally has not been conducted by Armenia’s Founding Parliament radical opposition group member Harutyun Aghlamazyan. The latter was called to Special Investigation Service on Thursday, and was then beaten down by unknown persons on his way home.

The street lights near Opera theatre are turned off. It is yet unknown whether the rally will be followed by a march.

As reported earlier, dozens of youths were detained after the rally in Yerevan’s Liberty Square on Thursday.
