YEREVAN. - Musician Yeghishe Petrosyan who had been detained on suspicion of organizing mass disorders was set free on Friday.

His attorney Lusine Sahakyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The criminal prosecution against Yeghishe Petrosyan was stoppoed in the absence of corpus delicti in his actions.

Founder of Armenia’s Ardzagank recording studio (Echo International) Yeghishe Petrosyan was detained on July 30 on suspicion of organizing mass disorders in Yerevan.

 

His health condition deteriorated and he was taken to Yerevan’s Astghik medical center, where he remained under the control of the police.  

 

Petrosyan is a member of Anti-Crisis Initiative Group which supports Sasna Tsrer armed group. He had taken active part in the recent protests.
