YEREVAN. - Deputy Chief of Armenian Police Levon Yeranosyan was given 28-day vacation upon the decision of the Armenian Prime Minister on Monday, the Government’s Information Department reports.
Levon Yeranosyan, Deputy Head of the Republic of Armenia (RA) police adjunct to the RA police, has been given his annual vacation of the working year 2015-2016, from August 8 to September 6 included, the decision reads.
As reported earlier, as a result of the internal investigation in the Armenian police, the powers of the Deputy Head of 1001 Military Unit Operative Division Headquarters of Police Troops, Lernik Yeranosyan were terminated in connection with the actions of the police against the protestors in Yerevan’s Sari Tagh district and Khorenatsi street on July 29-30.
Lernik Yeransoyan is the brother of the commander of the internal police troops, Deputy Head of Police Lyova Yeranosyan.
