YEREVAN. - Ashot Petrosyan, member of Sasna Tsrer armed group which seized Yerevan’s Erebuni police station for 15 days, met with the composer Tigran Mansuryan on Monday, following which he ended his 4-day hunger strike.

Petrosyan’s attorney, Arayik Papikyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

According to him, Petrosyan already receives medical assistance, which he had refused during his hunger strike.

The composer and Ashot Petrosyan talked for about two hours. Although Petrosyan has ended his hunger strike, the attorney will try to organize his client’s meeting also with another composer, Robert Amirkhanyan, whom Petrosyan wanted to see too.

Petrosyan, who is currently arrested, faces charges under Article 235.3 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive device) and 219.3 (1) ( Occupation of buildings, facilities, means of transportation or communication) of the Armenian Criminal Code. He is in the Hospital for Inmates now.
