President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has proposed to set up a power corridor between Baku, Moscow and Tehran.
In his words, Azerbaijan has tuned from a country importing power into that exporting it.
“[Our] export potential is growing. I am sure that with joint efforts we can achieve formation of reliable power corridor. This corridor can ensure the power exchange between the three countries and ways out to new markets,” Aliyev stated at the trilateral meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
