The Hraparak daily wrote about a comical incident with the Armenian Parliament Vice Speaker Samvel Balasanyan.

In its recent articles, the daily wrote that Vice Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, a brewer from Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan built a chapel in Akhuryan and because of this was nicknamed “God-fearing Balasanyan”.

While meeting the Hraparak reporter in the Armenian Parliament, enraged Balasanyan stated it was a prearranged article.

“You wrote God-fearing Balasanyan. Is it all right to insult a person?” Balasanyan said.

When the reporter tried to explain, to be God-fearing is not an insult, but an honorable quality, Balasanyan did not budge.
