YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call on Monday at 7:09am.

Accordingly, there was fire in a sports complex in capital city Yerevan.

Four firefighting squads and an emergency response team were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that the fire had broken out in the sauna of a health and fitness complex.

The fire was put out at 7:57am.

But the fire had burnt down the wooden coverings of the walls and ceilings of the sauna, the suspended ceiling of its bathroom as well as three doors and curtains, and damaged the suspended ceiling of the changing rooms.  

But no one was affected by the fire.
