YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper has learned that four members of the Sasna Tsrer armed group, which took over a police station but later surrendered in the Republic of Armenia’s (RA) capital city of Yerevan in July, will be released soon.

“It is believed that the precautionary measure of two-month arrest, which is enforced regarding them, will be commuted.

“According to the same news, they are those [Sasna Tsrer] members who told law enforcement agencies that they did not know where they were going and what they will do and they had appeared in the area of the RA Police patrol regiment without knowing,” wrote Zhoghovurd.
