YEREVAN. – We should not expect any significant progress in the negotiation process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Ambassador Ara Papyan, Modus Vivendi Center Director and political scientist, stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Monday.

In his words, the fact that now France and then the US may organize talks on Karabakh is due to their rivalry with Russia.

“A meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan is possible at the initiative of France,” stressed Papyan. “But because of Azerbaijan’s position, any agreement will hardly be managed to be reached.”
