The tripartite agreement of the policy of Russia, Iran and Turkey on Syria is rather difficult to reach.

Professor of the World Economy and International Affairs Faculty Department at the National Research University of the Higher School of Economics Alexey Portanski, who is also a leading fellow at the Institute of World Economy and International Affairs of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said the aforementioned, responding to the question of Armenian News – NEWS.am on how possible it is to build the Moscow-Tehran-Ankara dialogue on Syria, considering the recent meetings of the Russian and Turkish, as well as Russian and Iranian  presidents.

In his words, despite the present rapprochement, lots of controversies on the Syrian issue still remain between Moscow and Ankara.
