YEREVAN. - The first Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan on Friday held a meeting with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation to Armenia, Caroline Douilliez, and the newly-appointed coordinator of the mission’s Defense Department Zurab Burduli.

Congratulating Mr Burduli on his new appointment, Davit Tonoyan highly appreciated the effective cooperation between the Defense Ministry and the ICRC delegation, expressing hope that in the future it will rise to a qualitatively new level.

The sides also discussed issues related to cooperation, as well as joint programs aimed at making the cooperation between the two institutions more effective.
