A Caucasian Shepherd Dog in Russia killed a girl who was born in 2015, according to RIA Novosti news agency of the country.

According to investigation, the hostess had left the dog unattended near a home in Baklanovsk village in Rostov Oblast (province).

Subsequently, the animal broke loose of its chain and attacked the one-year-old child, who was a guest in this house with her mother.

The little girl died on the spot as a result of the bodily injuries she sustained.

A criminal case has been launched against the 56-year-old hostess of the house, and on charges of causing death by negligence.
