A 19-year-old resident of Armenian-populated Balkho village, in Akhalkalaki town in Georgia’s Samtskhe-Javakheti region, committed suicide by hanging herself in the lumber room of her house.
The hanged body of the girl was found by her family members.
This year, she was admitted to the French University in Armenia.
Her family members and fellow villagers do not know why she had killed herself.
The girl was laid to rest in her village.
The circumstance behind this suicide are being ascertained.
