YEREVAN. – Several days ago, US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills urgently went to his country, according to Zhoghovurd newspaper.

“According to the news, the ambassador recently had heart-related problems, and he underwent a treatment course at Astghik Medical Center [in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan]. However, the Armenian specialists advised the ambassador to urgently go to his home, the US, for treatment.

“According to the news, the ambassador went from Armenia to the US, on board a special flight. 

“In this regard, Zhoghovurd asked the US Embassy, where they responded as follows: ‘Thank you for your concern regarding the health of Ambassador Mills. He is now in London, and he is being examined there in connection with a small health problem. He has great confidence in his doctors in Armenia, who advised [him] to take that step. He, Ambassador Mills, is fine, and he plans to return to Armenia soon,’” wrote Zhoghovurd.
