YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will increase the value-added tax (VAT) returns to exporters, by 20 billion drams (approx. US$42,143,600).
The respective decision was reached at Thursday’s Cabinet session.
As per Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan, the said amount will be allocated from the state budget revenues that have increased.
In the first half of 2016, Armenia’s exports totaled $815 million, which is 16.7 percent more than the same period in the year past.
