Air taxis will start operating in Georgia in November.

The Adjara Group company is currently waiting for the issuance of the respective flight license, and its pilots will make their first flights presumably as of November 15, Adjara Group CEO Valeri Chkheidze informed, according to Gruzia Online news agency of Georgia.

Adjara Group Manager of Marketing and Business Development, Oto Berishvili, for his part, noted that the company is now working on the routes and prices of these flights.

These air taxi aircrafts were purchased from the United States. They are Beechcraft planes that seat eight persons.

Berishvili added that these air taxis will fly to Georgia’s regions where there are landing sites.
