Large-scale privatization of state entities is underway in Azerbaijan.

The State Property Issues Committee of Azerbaijan will hold an auction for the privatization of 85 state companies and entities on October 11, reads the statement issued by the State Committee on Monday, haqqin.az reports.

The companies, located in Baku, Ganja, Sumgait cities, as well as Salyan, Ujar Beylagan, Aghdash, Yevlakh and other districts, include the areas of agro chemistry, construction, transportation, poultry breeding, industry, processing, etc.

Apart from this, 30 small state companies and entities will be put on sale on October 11. Among these are uninhabited areas, as well as public catering and trade companies located in different districts of Baku.
