The supreme command of Syrian armed forces has declared about the launch of “regime of silence” in the country for seven days, Syrian state information agency SANA reports, citing the Supreme command statement.

The “regime of silence” will be enforced all over the Syrian territory, starting from 7:00 pm on September 12 to 11:59 pm on September 18.

“The Syrian army retains the right to give a resolute rebuff, with the use of all firepower at their disposal, to any ceasefire violation on the part of the armed groups,” the statement reads.
