#HrantDink has become the top Twitter hashtag in Turkey on Thursday, the birth anniversary of Hrant Dink, the assassinated Istanbul Armenian journalist.

The comments on this hashtag are primarily congratulations on Dink’s birthday, and condemning words addressed to the architects behind Dink’s murder.

He would have turned 62 years old on this day.

Hrant Dink was the founder and chief editor of Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul. He was gunned down on January 19, 2007 in front of then office of Agos.
