Iran is ready to expand the cooperation with Armenia in the area of energy and transportation.

Deputy FM of Iran Morteza Sarmadi said the aforementioned at the meeting with his Armenian counterpart Shavarsh Kocharyan on Monday, Irna reports.

Sarmadi expressed hope that the current regional conflicts will be solved through dialogue in the near future. He also underscored the good relations between Tehran and Yerevan, expressing readiness to invigorate the cooperation with Armenia in the area of energy and transportation.

In Sarmadi’s words, restoration of the peace and stability is important and useful for all the countries of the region.
