The Kingdom of Urartu, which was established in the Armenian Highlands, was one of the most powerful civilizations in ancient times.

Numerous archaeological samples of the same-name fortress town are displayed at Erebuni Museum in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Most of the Urartian monuments, however, remain outside the present-day borders of Armenia, whereas some others have been added to the collections of museums in several other countries, including Germany. 

An ancient history museum called the Pergamon Museum, which is named after the ancient Greek city, functions in the German capital city of Berlin.

This museum has a hall where exhibits from the Kingdom of Urartu are displayed, including the records by Urartian kings. The hall also has a stand with the physical map of this kingdom, and this map presents the history of the Kingdom of Urartu.
